Clientox (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Clientox mobile app and related services for Indian small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

When you use the Clientox app, we may collect:

• Account information — name, email address, and password when you register; or name, email, and profile photo when you sign in with Google.
• Profile details — display name and optional phone number stored in your account.
• Service requests — business name, category, city, WhatsApp number, service selected, and any notes you submit when booking an audit, callback, or demo.
• Saved services — services you bookmark inside the app.
• Messages — messages you send to our team about your requests.
• Usage & device data — basic app diagnostics and analytics (such as Firebase Analytics) including device type, operating system, and general interaction events. We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone data through the app.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process and respond to service requests
• Send status updates and communicate about your enquiries
• Improve app reliability, security, and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How we store and protect data

Account and request data are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are not stored in plain text by Clientox. We apply access controls so only you and authorised Clientox staff can view your requests.

5. Third-party services

The app uses the following third-party providers:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and analytics
• Google Sign-In — optional sign-in with your Google account

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. You can review Google’s policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and request data while your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise associated personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Your rights and choices

You may:

• Access or update profile details inside the app
• Sign out at any time from the Account screen
• Request deletion of your account and data — see Delete Account & Data below

8. Children

Clientox is intended for business users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Delete Account & Data

You can request permanent deletion of your Clientox account and the personal data linked to it. This page meets Google Play’s account deletion requirements.

How to request deletion

1. Send an email from the address linked to your Clientox account to hello@clientox.com with the subject line Delete my Clientox account.
2. In the message, include the email you use to sign in and, if helpful, your registered name or business name so we can verify the account.
3. We will confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days. You will receive a final confirmation email once deletion is done.

Before you delete

• Deletion is permanent. You will lose access to request history, saved services, and messages.
• If you only want to stop using the app, you can sign out without deleting your data.
